Improve Your Sim Racing Experience with Vehicle Tuning

Vehicle tuning is an important part of all racing. Most competitive racing series have class restrictions that ensure equal powertrain performance. This means that every fraction of a second gained from tuning various other vehicle characteristics could be the difference between first and second place. It could also be the difference between a drivable car and one that slides right through the corners.

Almost every software title compatible with the Eleetus Simulator allows for vehicle tuning. While the more “arcadey” titles may only allow for basic adjustments, the higher end simulation titles offer the ability to tune all the characteristics of a real life vehicle. Rear brakes locking up too soon? Adjust the brake bias forward. On a track with long straights? Adjust gear ratios to allow for a higher top speed. Other tunable areas include aerodynamics, tire pressures, fuel level, and a wealth of suspension options. Pair these changes with the Eleetus Simulator and you really feel the difference as you dial in your ideal tune.
